So my box has evened out and Im not spending too much on comics anymore, which means I should start moving into some manga. Any suggestions/ideas. I dont wanna read anything Ive already seen or read. Ex. Dragonball, Akira, Deathnote. And Im not a big tezuka fan. (I know I know...) so start throwing stuff my way.

judge pretty sure that this is considered a manga, and ive heard good things, Especially the garth ennis run

also...lone wolf and cub is a great one to read. you can get them super cheap (except for a few odd balls) and lady snowblood is really good as well. When i get back home i lend you lady snowblood and you can see what you think. Snowblood and lonbewolf are the same writer but he tries really hard to be period authentic. obviously he takes liberties but its still a good read

judge dread is awesome, hes such an amazing character. it's british not japanese, but the books been running for like 30 years so it's almost impossible to catch up.

if you like adrian tomine's optic nerve book, read anything by Yoshihiro Tatsumi. you'll see where optic nerve draws from. The Tatsumi book A Drifting Life is a good overview of the early manga scene, and one of the best books i've ever read. fuck face can vouch for me on that.

Be a little more specific though. i have lots of suggestions but i'm not sure what type of genre you want to get into. Let me know what you were looking for. scooter and i will help you out.
